Lyrics to Peut-être Poetry
I carry thoughts in my headmashine
unable to make them sound
I cannot make you hear their scheme
until some new words got refound
I am happy that
the modern times are gone yet?
and 'we became ?snappy?' said:
an anachronistically rising sunset
we pleasantly stopped and watched too far
losing our other tongue
undescribing snarly stars and scars -
wrongs that never had been sung
I am lucky that
after all we made it back
and 'we got ?sticky?' said:
the world's copy is either grey or white and black
I say lets try again
who knows where we will end
hopefully maybe we can
invent
new ways to describe our old frame more clearly then
unable to make them sound
I cannot make you hear their scheme
until some new words got refound
I am happy that
the modern times are gone yet?
and 'we became ?snappy?' said:
an anachronistically rising sunset
we pleasantly stopped and watched too far
losing our other tongue
undescribing snarly stars and scars -
wrongs that never had been sung
I am lucky that
after all we made it back
and 'we got ?sticky?' said:
the world's copy is either grey or white and black
I say lets try again
who knows where we will end
hopefully maybe we can
invent
new ways to describe our old frame more clearly then
