Lyrics to Sacred Science
First day of school, I got a list of classes
History, physics, literature, mathematics
But there was a course missing
But no one seemed to listen in admissions
Brought it up throughout the year, but cats were already conditioned
In my school my history teacher failed to mention
This person whose multi-dimension epitomizes non-fiction
Unlike others, within Him, there is no contradiction
She never said that each person we were quizzed on
Was working within His jurisdiction
Never learned a description of His holy inscription
Spent so much time on Einstein, MLK, Mozart, Plato and Marx
That she didn't teach, give a speech or even final remarks
On the One who's been here before history starts
And His story is amazing grace shown through sacred science
Used men to script phonics addressing our spiritual noncompliance
He speaks, plants seeds
Eternal words which are non-subjective
Produces fruit that corrects our fractured perspective
Only His Word- deserving of our all and awe
These pages point us to our God
Since the Word who is eternally blessed
Became stained burgundy flesh
Perfectly pressed on wood
Hanging word
He spoke not a word as He was nailed in our place
So you should study the triune God, don't be content with The Fates
Greater poetry than Dickinson, Poe or Yates
Major in theology, son
Don't have to be monk or a nun
Do you mind if I treat God's word like gold and mine the Son?
Cause I'm a miner and I'm minor
Compared to the Majestic major Designer
So lets go to His diner, dwell and feast on pages of Script
Inductively dissect each phrase, stand amazed at this relationship
And I know what you're thinking, doesn't knowledge puff up?
But lack of knowledge will have you sinking serving a God who's made up
What about passion? Won't it get smothered by doctrine?
Well your passion should grow the more you meditate on your adoption
So don't study the greats while ignoring the Greatest
We are all called to be theologians
So pick up your Bible and your patience
So we can trade in this spiritual fakeness
This me ology
Filled with falsehoods of self-esteem and felt need homilies
Or cats that don't know what they believe-they wobbly
Cause they never took the time to drink this responsibly
So check your classes since they say knowledge is key
Don't ace every subject and fail to unlock theology
And don't stop there, here's another ology
That will lead you to adore the Lord in His sovereignty
History, physics, literature, mathematics
But there was a course missing
But no one seemed to listen in admissions
