Der Song endet mit der Aussage, sollte sie nicht kommen, so wird sich eine andere finden, die den wilden Thymian mit ihm pflückt. Das Ganze hört sich recht verwirrend an, außer man weiß, daß "Wild Thyme" ein poetischer Ausdruck für die Jungefräulichkeit ist.
